Find Your Balance.

life moves fast. your yoga doesn't have to.

ENJOY THE PAUSE.

It’s easy to feel overwhelmed by the relentless pace of everyday life. While there is much to be appreciative of, it’s a fact that our work life and our personal life can be demanding. Where does this leave us time for our selves? How can we be constantly present for others if we are barely present for our own experiences?

Life is about balance. Yin and yang. The external, energetic life needs to be balanced by honoring the quiet, introspective side of our selves.

If you:

  • Feel overwhelmed by the pace of your life
  • Feel disconnected from the wisdom your body has for you
  • Have trouble sleeping or focusing
  • Have a sneaking suspicion that this “slowing down” thing just might be what you’re needing

You’re not alone.

The bullet points above describe me, before I started practicing yoga! Okay, truthfully, those bullet points still describe me. But I know I always have the practice of yoga to come back to, and to remind me of my true nature.

The styles of yoga and movement you’ll find in my classes focus on slow and steady movement (or in the case of Yin Yoga, not much movement at all!). Classes focus on developing healthy breathing patterns to optimize your body’s natural defenses. And most importantly, we celebrate taking the time out of our busy schedules to do something meaningful. For our selves.

Find balance in your life with yoga. Let’s do it together.

Andrea is a fabulous instructor. She’s calm and patient, very relaxed in her approach. She’s great if you’re new to yoga, but she’s also great for those of us who are experienced with it because she offers plenty of options to allow you to do the poses best for where you’re at right now in your yoga practice. I highly recommend her classes!

Andrea has such a welcoming demeanor, it makes even unbendy folk of a certain age feel that they, too, can do yoga!  With forgiving postures and helpful modifications, I have been amazed – and delighted – by the new energy and range of motion her classes have brought me.  Indeed, it is with great appreciation and gratitude that I find yoga with Andrea becoming a relished habit.  Namaste!

A gifted instructor, filled with grace and humor, Andrea Neil is not only a long-time expert in yoga itself but has a wide-ranging knowledge of what helps her clients achieve health and comfort without stress. For someone who was creaky to start with and a yoga innocent — that’s me — there could have been no better introduction to the art than Andrea. I haven’t felt this good, or this flexible, for years. Thank you, teacher.

I love Andrea’s classes and her presentation. Perfect combination of serious instruction, humor, and an authentic vibe.

Twice a week I  Zoom into Andrea’s quiet space, say hello to a few friendly faces before changing the screen to focus only on Andrea. She leads us, it seems like just me now, through a magical half-an-hour where my body is stretched and healed as we (my body and I) safely follow her lead. Breathing I am conscious. Slowly I am building strength again and I am forever grateful.
Thank you. Namaste.

My sister and I are beginners, and the way she instructs her class is easy to understand and to follow along with. I love how much this stretches my back and how good it feels! We also enjoy the pace at which she leads her class and her calm presence.

I love Andrea’s classes, her instructions are very clear for those new to yoga and her sense of humor helps students laugh when things may get difficult, or just for the sake of laughter. Her fun loving spirit combined with her guidance in practice makes for an uplifting experience.
